A Handy Homework Station

We often think kids will do homework in the home office or in their bedroom, but most often, they want to be near you and all the action at home. This most often means homework happens at the kitchen table.

Setting up a homework station with easy access to all the supplies they need makes homework time efficient and easy to keep tidy. The supplies will vary depending on the age of your kids, but some general suggestions include:

  • scissors

  • glue and tape

  • pens and pencils

  • erasers

  • pencil crayons

  • felt markers

  • post-it notes

  • coloured and lined paper

Make this project a fun DIY activity, getting your kids involved so they know where things are and can provide ideas for items that may be useful.
